Creating and Deploying Certificates

This section introduces how to create and deploy certificates in TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email for Transport Layer Security (TLS) environments.

Important

Create the certificate on a separate machine running Linux, not on the TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email appliance. After creating the certificate, upload the certificate through the TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection for Email management console at Administration → Mail Settings → Connections in the Transport Layer Security section.
