appliance on the management console.

Power Off: All active tasks are stopped, and then the appliance
gracefully shuts down.

Restart: All active tasks are stopped, and then the appliance is
restarted.
Powering off or restarting the appliance affects the following:

Virtual Analyzer sample analysis: Integrated products may queue samples or bypass
submission while the appliance is unavailable.

Active configuration tasks initiated by all users: Trend Micro recommends verifying that all active tasks are completed before
proceeding.
