Monitoring Hosted Email Security Spam Stats

Before you can start monitoring the spam stats for Hosted Email Security customers, you must first integrate ConnectWise Manage customers with Trend Micro Remote Manager.

After integrating the two products and associating customer accounts, you can configure the spam stats settings for customers.

  1. Configure ConnectWise Manage clients to monitor spam stats.
    1. From the ConnectWise Manage console, go to Companies > Companies.

      The Company Search screen appears.

    2. Type the company name in the Company Name field and click Search.

      The {Company} screen appears.

    3. Click the Configurations tab.
    4. Click New Item () to create a new configuration.

      The New Configuration screen appears.

    5. Type the company ID in the Configuration Name field.
    6. Select Spam Stats from the Type drop-down list.
    7. Click Save.
  2. Ensure that you have added the Hosted Email Security product to the ConnectWise Manage console.
    1. From the ConnectWise Manage console, go to Procurement > Product Catalog

      The Product Catalog screen appears.

    2. Click New Item () to add a new product.

      The New Product Item screen appears.

    3. Type the necessary Trend Micro Remote Manager managed product/service product IDs in the Product ID field.

      The Product ID for Hosted Email Security is HES.

    4. Specify the following information:
      • Description

      • Unit Price

      • Customer Description

    5. Click Save.
  3. Configure the global third-party integration settings on the Trend Micro Remote Manager console to send the Hosted Email Security detections to ConnectWise Manage clients.
    1. Open the Trend Micro Remote Manager console.
    2. Go to Administration > Configure third-party integration.

      The Configure third-party integration screen appears.

    3. In the Notification Settings section:
      • Enable Send the spam/email virus detections information from Hosted email Security to ConnectWise Manage every ___ to perform automated security reporting for Hosted Email Security customers.

    4. Click Save.
  4. Configure the customer-specific ConnectWise Manage settings on the Trend Micro Remote Manager console to send the Hosted Email Security detections to a specific ConnectWise Manage client.
    1. Open the Trend Micro Remote Manager console.
    2. To enable Remote Manager to send notifications to ConnectWise Manage, go to Customers > {Company}.
    3. Click the Notification tab.
      The following screen appears:
    4. In the Third-party Notifications section, select ConnectWise Manage.
    5. Click Save.
    6. Click the ConnectWise Manage tab.
    7. In the Notification Settings section:
      • Select Use global settings from Administration > Configure third-party integration > ConnectWise Manage settings to apply the global integration settings.

      • Select Use custom settings to configure customer-specific notifications for billing and executive summaries.

        • Enable Send the spam/email virus detections information from Hosted email Security to ConnectWise Manage every ___ to perform automated security reporting for Hosted Email Security customers.

    8. Click Save.
