Backing up Agents

Endpoint Application Control agent data is stored on the Endpoint Application Control server endpoint. To back up agent data, such as logs, do the following:

  • Verify that the agent has recently connected to the Endpoint Application Control server and that the server collected the logs.

  • Back up the server data. See Backing up your Server.

To verify that the server is collecting agent logs, do the following:

  1. Log on the web console and then go to the applicable screen for your version of Endpoint Application Control:
    • For 2.0, go to Management > Users and Endpoints.

    • For 1.0, go to Management > Targets.

  2. In the Up-to-Date column, look for one of the following icons:
    • : Up-to-date

    • : Not up-to-date

      If the agent has not updated recently, verify that a network connection to the agent is available from the server endpoint.
