Why can't I scan my Google account?

Privacy Scanner can only check your Google+ profile for privacy concerns, not your Google account. If you keep seeing the message Once the Google+ site opens again automatically, please leave it open to scan the settings, please consider the following:

  • You have created your Google+ profile, and not just a Google account.

  • Do not close any browser tabs by the Privacy Scanner until you're finished.

  • Make sure that your computer can connect to the Internet.

Why did I get the error "Something Went Wrong"?

This error message appears if something unexpected happens. To solve the problem:

  • Make sure that your computer can connect to the Internet.

  • Do not close any browser tabs opened by the Privacy Scanner until it has finished.
