You can configure the Approved/Blocked URLs List for your Trend Micro Web Security customers and deploy the list to multiple customers.

Procedure

  1. Go to Customers.
  2. Select one or more customers from the Company list.
  3. Click Policy Settings and under TREND MICRO WEB SECURITY select Approved/Blocked URLs List.
    The Trend Micro Web Security: Approved/Blocked URLs List screen appears.
  4. Confirm selected customers and click Configure Policy>.
  5. Use the drop-down box to specify how changes affect each list.
    • Append: Remote Manager adds the specified items to the existing list
    • Delete: Remote Manager removes the specified items from the existing list

      If Remote Manager does not locate the specified item in the existing list, Remote Manager does not perform any action on the list.
    • Overwrite: Remote Manager deletes all items from the existing list and replaces the list with the specified items

      You cannot undo this action. If you choose to replace the entire list, you cannot recover the previous list items.
  6. Select a match mode from the following:
    • Approve/Block URLs from the domain
    • Approve/Block the URL
    • Approve/Block URLs that contain this keyword
  7. Specify the URLs that apply to the policy.

    You can specify up to 1000 approved URLs and 1000 blocked URLs. If the number of URLs exceeds the maximum, the deployment will fail.
    1. To Append or Delete, type the URLs that apply to the policy.
    2. To Overwrite, configure the URLs using the Excel file provided.

    Remote Manager does not support Internet Explorer 11 for Excel file upload of Trend Micro Web Security Approved/Blocked URLs lists.
  8. Click Deploy Policy Settings.
    Remote Manager deploys the changes to the specified customers or device groups. You can monitor the status of the policy deployment from the Administration logs.
